Service Description

Summer Semester - Meets twice a month on Fridays (1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th, depending on booking choice). - The Summer Semester will take place from July to September - The Summer Semester will contain 6 classes that will be 1.5 hours long. Classes will begin with a short devotional and prayer, followed by teaching blocks such as basic gear introduction, knot tying and casting, fish identification, conservation, salt water fishing, freshwater fishing, select specialty courses (Fish Trap Building, Castnetting, Surf Fishing, etc...) and finally ending with a small class fishing tournament on the last day of class to bring together all the learned skills. - Locations will vary based on conditions, teaching block, and availability. - Locations will be throughout Palm Beach County (Phil Foster Park, Okeeheelee Park, Freedom Park, Dubois Park, etc...) and will be communicated to parents prior to the class. - Age range for students will be 5-12 yoa - Maximum class size is 6 students. - All necessary gear/tackle/bait is provided for the classes. - Parents will accompany their children during the classes. This course is not only designed to teach the students to fish, but is also meant to enable parents to be able to enjoy their new hobby with them outside of the course. - Parents may bring siblings of the students to the class for childcare purposes, but only children registered as students and their parents will be able to participate in the class. - Each student will have to be registered for the class separately. - 419 Fishing Academy is a step-up approved direct provider. Anyone using step-up should contact us for information on how to register! Cancellation Policy If unexpected circumstances require you to cancel your registration, a 50% refund will be provided for cancellations made up to three weeks prior to the first class. Once the course begins, make up classes or credits are not offered for students who miss classes for any reason. In the event that unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, illness etc. require 419 Fishing Academy to cancel a class, the class will be rescheduled, if possible.

Cancellation Policy If unexpected circumstances require you to cancel your registration, a refund will be provided for cancellations made until one week prior to the first class. A 50% refund will be provided for cancellations made within one week prior to the first class and for students who drop out within 7 days of the first class. No refunds will be provided for students who drop out after 7 days from the first class. Once the course begins, make up classes or credits are not offered for students who miss classes for any reason. In the event that unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, illness etc. require 419 Fishing Academy to cancel a class, the class will be rescheduled, if possible.
